The retreat co-creators, Polina, founder of ConsciSea, and Ruba have been living on the Portuguese coast for several years now. Longboard surfing came into their lives not so long ago, but love for sharing waves is what brought them to create this unique program for longboard lovers. Gathering the best team and partners to help you achieve what you are dreaming about, and most importantly, have fun together.

Instructors
Filipe Seixas
Born in Lisbon, Filipe started surfing at the age of 8 after getting hit by a longboard while bodyboarding. The surfer let him try the longboard and since then, he fell in love with the feeling of gliding on a wave. Most of his life decisions were made with the main priority of spending as much time in the ocean as possible.
Started competing recently in Longboard festivals, with his best results being a 4th place in the National Cup and 3rd place in the Gliding Barnacles international surf festival.
Filipe also competed in downhill skateboard, with the 1st place at Copa Centro Oeste in Brazil, a few 2nd and 3rd places in local and regional events, and a 13th place in the Red Bull Vista Chinesa world championship stage in Rio de Janeiro, at age 15.

- Basic techniques: Efficient paddle, functional take off variations, turning, trimming and cross stepping
- Importance of visualization and exercises
- Surf etiquette and safety.

Accommodation
Welcome to our surf house, located near some of the best waves in the Peniche area. Our friendly Italian hosts will make you feel at home with delicious vegetarian breakfasts and dinners made with organic veggies fresh from our farm.
The house has four rooms with individual beds, but we can adjust for couples or families. All bedrooms are on the first floor, along with two bathrooms and a living room with a fireplace overlooking the backyard.
On the ground floor, you'll find a fully equipped common kitchen, a spacious multifunction space, and a dining area.
Enjoy our pool, jacuzzi, greenhouse, skate park and relaxed atmosphere — perfect for learning to surf and simply soaking in the Portuguese scenery.
