Zhenya is a Germany based freelance photographer, videographer and journalist, focusing on shooting travel, lifestyle, people and places. Her works have been published in National Geographic Russia, L'Officiel Voyage, Hello, Kinfolk, Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, Frankie Mag AU, Tina Mag, The Noisetier, Veter Mag and others.

As an experienced professional, she has worked with such well-known brands as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Canon, Virgin Limited, Sony, Barilla and others.

She is passionate about visual storytelling and sees her mission as a photographer, who can create a special story of a brand, person or a place, that people will remember.

As an invited host of Photo Retreat, she will hold 4 professional shoots:

You will stay in the place which is combine the amenities of a luxury hotel with the space and privacy of your own vacation house.

Our house stands proudly on the cliffs just outside the village of Azenhas do Mar overlooking the coast from Cabo de Roca to Ericeira. Its seven apartments with different layouts and styles were created in a recent full renovation, upgrading the ancient house to modern standards, while respectfully preserving the existing substance. The 10,000m2 romantic garden features a yoga studio, a tennis court, a spa and many sitting areas to enjoy the view.

booked the camp and my flights the following day, and a month later, I was in Portugal.
I've been craving to do more things on my own and being out of my comfort zone because I needed time to think and disconnect to heal from a loss earlier this year and to be more creative in my work field.
The camp kept me busy and all my responsibilities back home in NY on a five-hour time difference. It allowed me to meet humans from different backgrounds and in other creative fields, which opened my mind even more. I find it very valuable to open up your heart and mind to new individuals that will bring a different outlook on life.
For this and many reasons, I'm forever grateful to you, Thiago and Zhenya. Thank you for showing me your beautiful and quaint town. It means the world.

Many thanks Karina for such beautiful words I laughed😁. I can't believe it's all over either. It's been an incredible week. Many thanks to Polina, Tiago and Zhenya for the organization, I learned a lot and stayed alive.

I'm actually a closed person (but Aperol helped me fix that haha) and I wanted to challenge myself by embarking on a solo journey. It was worth it, I gained great experiences and met such nice people. You are all so different but everyone was battling the ocean and that was a lot of fun. I will miss you. The world is round, maybe we'll meet again and jump into the pool together.😁Get home safe and take care🌸.

Guys, thank you all so so so much! This week was just so much needed, I felt happy all the time and I felt like I was living every moment in full, feeling it every minute, enjoying this amazing world, the people and all the interactions.

People, I've been sleeping all these 2 days 😂😂😂
And now I can finally write here some words as well😂
I'm endlessly grateful to @⁨Polina Belo⁩ and @⁨Zhenya Swan ⁩ for organizing this trip!!! I truly loved every moment!!! But for sure it was not only interesting photography lectures or exciting surfing&longboard experience that made me like this journey so much; it is about the people that gathered together and created a very warm and friendly atmosphere!!!
